Tiberian Sun

We played this game since clanfoundation on Oct 24th, 1999 till mid 2003.

The Flying Dutchmen had several teams at Tiberian Sun. The most well-known being [FD-NL], renamed to [FDNL-1]. Most of our players could be found on the EuroServer, but some of them were also active on the US Server, where they played ‘TON2’-gamers. TON2 (Temple of Nod 2) also being the name of a chat channel on the US Westwood server. This channel was mostly joined by the best and most active TibSun players and where matches were arranged.

The most popular maps played by FDNL were Forest Fires and Terrace. But also our gamers could be found playing maps like Tiberian Garden Redux, Limited Acces en Penthagram.

World of Warcraft

Several players were able to join the beta in Dec 2004 (a.o. Lordgeo and H0LLanD). Others had to wait till the official release on 11 Feb 2005. This game was and still is highly succesful, with a playerbase of over 12,000,000 people worldwide.
At first we started at the Euro PVP-server Daggerspine where the opponents were hidding behind nearly each tree to give a final blow. After reaching level 60 we participated in several raids, however most players disliked continuously being PVP-attacked and we decided to move server.
A few weeks later nearly everyone started a new character on the non-PVP server Nagrand.

An incredible amount of players joined the guild. Some stayed long, most left after a few days or months (guildhoppers).

The most memorable members are:
