Team info
team name The Flying Dutchmen
clan/team tags
Our Alliance guild was founded on Feb. 6, 2005 on the PVP-server Daggerspine and grew steadily. A vast land lay ahead to be explored. Each class started in a different city and it took about 20 levels to be able to travel to other cities and meet members of other classes.
Although difficult to play solo, behind every tree and stone a Horde team could be waiting to kill you (it was wise not to travel alone), we managed to grind and advance to level 60 the then current level cap.

Popular dungeons, like the Deadmines, the Stormwind Stockade, the Scarlet Monestary, Maraudon, Dire Maul, Zul'Farak, Scholomance, Sunken Temple and Blackrock Depths/Spire were grinded in groups to get good armor and weapons.

FDNL was not able to perform raids by themselves and we tried a merger with another guild. The leaders of the other guild were very friendly and cooperative, but shortly after several members that disliked eachother began mutiny and out combined guild broke up.

Leaders nor members were willing to start again on Daggerspine and proprosed to move server. In those days it was impossible to transfer characters, so we all started a new character on the EU PVE server Dragonblight.

game details
game box-imageWorld of Warcraft takes place in a 3D representation of the Warcraft universe that players can interact with through their characters.

The game world initially consisted of the two continents in Azeroth: Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdoms.

Two separate expansions later added to the game's playable area the realm of Outland and the continent of Northrend.

As a player explores new locations, different routes and means of transportion become available. Players can access "flight masters" in newly discovered locations to fly to previously discovered locations in other parts of the world. Players can also use boats, zeppelins, or portals to move from one continent to another.

Although the game world remains relatively similar from day to day, seasonal events reflecting real world events—such as Halloween, Christmas, Children's Week,Easter, and Midsummer—have been represented in the game world. Locations also have variable weather including, among other things, rain, snow, and dust storms.
