Battle for Middle Earth II, 4 Mar 2006

"In The Lord of the Rings, The Battle for Middle-earth II, the sequel to the critically acclaimed RTS game The Lord of the Rings, The Battle for Middle-earth you now have the chance to experience all that Middle-earth was meant to be."

WoW-alliance with Immortalis, 15 Feb 2006
FDNL and Immortalis, two guilds playing on the European WoW Dragonblight game-server, both not large enough to explore the high-end game content, decided to team up raiding the instances Zul'Gurub (ZG), The Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj (AQ20) and Molten Core (MC). And also help eachother as far as possible.
Together we were very succesful and many raiders got lots of epic items making it possible to do the more difficult game content each week.

Onyxia's Lair
First time Onyxia down: 7 May 2006
Outdoor Bosses
First time Lord Kazzak down: 10 Apr 2006

Early May it came to a full stop; hidden agendas, misunderstandings, no more trust ended this basically very good Alliance

WoW-alliance with The Brotherhood Danes, 21 May 2006
Looking for a new partner, the negotiations with the Brotherhood of Danes were very succesful. A new set of "rules" was developped, basic upon equality. Much faster than expected, we gained much progres in our raids:
Onyxia's Lair
First time Onyxia down: 28th May 2006
Currently we finish the instance in just 15 minutes.
Molten Core (MC)
First time Ragnaros down: 3rd of July 2006

WoW progress FDNL-only
Zul'Gurub (ZG)
First time Hakkar down: 27 Jun 2006
Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj (AQ20)
First time Ossirian down: 8 Aug 2006

September 20: The alliance came to a full stop, partly due to a language-barrier, partly due to a lack of trust.

WoW-guild now FDNL-only, 21 Sep 2006
All members did their utmost best to make sure we could continue raiding and made sure to be online in time and ready for raiding. A tremendous progress occurred:
  • Nefarian down;
  • ultra fast 1-night MC clearance;
  • AQ40 Skeram kill, The Bug Trio, Sartura, Fankriss;
  • BWL more or less on farm status;
  • Outdoor World Bosses, etc.

FDNL wow team breaks up

Early December mutiny arose in the WOW-team. Several members were kicked and formed a new guild. A great number of the younger members left the guild in succession and joined the other team.
Most of the elderly players decided to stay and made sure that we survided this near crash.
New players were recruted and by the end of the year we were all waiting for The Burning Crusade to hit the shelves.
